Geneva S. Thomas is the Founder and Editor of The Knowing and Managing Director of GST Advisory, a digital media practice for creators and content companies. She is the author of the forthcoming book Supervillain (Hachette, 2027), the history of Black women and American reality television.

An award-winning media executive for nearly 20 years, Geneva has led digital transformation and shaped the voice for the world's most iconic media brands. She is the former GM of People and Entertainment Weekly and led digital strategy at Essence and Condé Nast.

Geneva’s writing and commentary on pop culture, style, race and gender have appeared in CNN, Teen Vogue, Architectural Digest, Ebony and Elle among others. She lives in Los Angeles.
